We are building a Walipini style greenhouse with extra thermal energy focus, and a workshop shed (a natural building). Covering topics such as a permaculture setup, composting toilets, solar ovens and natural swimming pools. Camping space and food included.

We are building 2 tiny homes at once! Each of a different design, these tiny homes are unique and custom designed. Open to everyone. Price includes includes everything including food and accommodation. Registrations open late August.  

From foundation to roof, you will learn both the practical and theoretical skills on building with bales in NZ. Topics include foundation design, structural system design, natural plaster systems, flashing design, building science, NZ building regulations and well as enjoy local house tours in the region of the workshop.
